This is a cake I baked for a North Stonington Businessman’s Celebration. It was two layers of delicious vanilla butter cake and two layers of dark chocolate cake with a Swiss meringue buttercream and an outer layer of  fondant, all coming together to make a very tasty version of one of the main buildings in the Holly Green Plaza. I enjoyed the challenge of making this cake. I did all the carving, frosting and fondant covering of this cake by working straight through the night until I delivered it 10:00 the next morning. The covered walkways I held up with fondant covered straws. Here is the photo of the actual building below.
